The Minister of Development, Equality and Social Integration, Gabriela Pedrali, received this Wednesday the Undersecretary of Institutional Relations of the Ministry of Transportation, Maricel Maldonado, to finalize the details of the training that the Provincial Council for People with Disabilities will provide to the and the drivers of the Riojaus public transport company.
The training will focus on the performance of the drivers when a person with some type of disability wishes to access the transport service.
The undersecretary reported that next Monday 09 of the current the agreement will be signed to advance in this joint work and that same day the training will begin for the more than 150 drivers, among which there are 35 women.
“This training will help the drivers know how to act correctly when the passenger or passenger of the service has a disability,” said Maldonado. He added that the training will last a week and that the last day will have its practical part in the Superdome, with two of the new units.
“The president of the Council, Soledad Córdoba informed us that the training will consist of three modules, and surely, in the future we will continue to work together,” concluded the undersecretary.
