Malaysia’s Health Ministry (MOH) hopes that the community will continue to play a vital role in protecting the vulnerable communities in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

“Vulnerable groups include persons with disabilities, older people, Orang Asli, dialysis and cancer patients, and those with low immunity and chronic illnesses.” said Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

“Health ministry will empower the community and protect green zones as well as improve health conditions such as high blood pressure and as diabetes through the Peka B40 program.

“The Ministry will also enhance the integration of services to the people through cooperation between the public and private services,” said Dr Addullah in a video uploaded on his official website.

Dr Abdullah also reminded the people always to practice personal hygiene, wash hands regularly, wear face masks, and social distancing and comply with guidelines.
