Deputy Commissioner Mody was confirmed by the United States Senate on December 18, 2025. He was sworn in on January 5, 2026. In this role, he will serve as the agency’s chief operating officer.

“Under President Donald J. Trump, the Social Security Administration is transforming into a premier service organization to serve more Americans at faster speeds than ever before.
