Fleur Jong breaks a world record after jumping 6.16 in the women’s long jump event at T62.

USA’s Susannah Scaroni new Paralympic champion in women’s 5,000m T54
Susannah Scaroni has won gold in the women’s 5,000m T54 and breaks the world record. She crossed the line in a time of 10:52.57 – almost 15 seconds fastest than the time Tatyana McFadden set at Rio 2016.

USA’s Alyssa Seely takes gold in women’s PTS2
Alyssa Seely claims gold in women’s PTS2 followed by teammate Hailey Danz and Italy’s Veronica Yoko Plebani.

Alexis Hanquinquant wins gold in men’s PTS4
Alexis Hanquinquant has won the first gold medal of the day for France. The three-time world champion led the race all the way through with a blistering time of 59:58.
