USA beat New Zealand in the men’s wheelchair rugby match today. USA won 63-35 over New Zealand at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo.

RPC beat Canada 5-1 in Goalball

Debuting for the first time in the Paralympic Games, RPC started their opening game for the women’s goalball preliminaries at Makuhari Messe Hall, beating their Canadian opponents 5-1.

New Paralympic Swimming Record

The women’s 50m freestyle S5 Paralympic record is broken, Elizabeth Marks sets a time of 33.16 seconds to win heat one

The Men’s 100m Butterfly S14 Paralympic Record has been broken, Australia’s Liam Schulter touched in at 58.38 seconds, Brazil’s Gabriel Bandeira won his heat with 56.78 before Great Britain’s Reece Dunn smashed it with a 55.99.

Brazil defeat reigning Goallball Paralympic champions

Brazil have beaten the Rio 2016 men’s goalball gold medallist Lithuania 11-2 in their opening group match.
