Nonprofit trains more than 200 teachers on inclusive education in Spain

students in the classroom

The Spanish Confederation of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities (COCEMFE) has trained 124 teachers on inclusive education and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

Between October and November, the Confederation has trained more than 200 teachers on inclusive education, disability and the use of ICT.

Specifically, the four courses held in November have addressed inclusive language and good treatment of people with disabilities, care for students with hemophilia and cancer, and support products in the educational field.

This training complements those carried out in October on ICT Tools for inclusion in the classroom, related to computer applications that facilitate learning and make up a catalog to improve teaching digital skills and knowledge by these professionals for persons with disabilities.

These trainings are part of promoting inclusive education and support for students with disabilities, financed through a subsidy from 0.7% of personal income tax from the Ministry of Health, Consumption, and Social Welfare.
