Felix Streng from Germany wins 100m T64
Felix Streng is the new champion of men’s 100m T64 with blistering time of 10.76. Costa Rica’s Sherman Isidro Guity Guity won the silver medal. Great Britain’s Jonnie Peacock and Germany’s Johannes Floors will get a bronze medal as they clocked in at 10.79.

New World Record in swimming
Lu Dong has broken a 11-year old world record (37.18) in the women’s 50m backstroke S5 event.

Ami Omer Dadaon of Isreal breaks his own world record and wins gold
Dadaon won gold in the men’s 200m freestyle, S4 and set a new world record which he has previously set last June before the Paralympic Games.

Ukraine’s Andrii Trusov breaks world record and wins gold
Trusov wins gold in the men’s 100m backstroke – S7 finals with a time of 1:0814, which is a world record.

Sweden’s Philip Jonsson wins gold in R4 mixed 10m air rifle
Jonsson claims his first Paralympic gold after shooting 252.8 points during the R4 mixed 10m Air SH2 final.

Japan’s Shingo Kunieda and Yui Kamiji win their matches
Japan aces Shingo Kunieda and Yui Kamiji are both win their matches today at the Ariake Tennis Park Centre Court.

First Paralympic gold for Nigeria in Powerlifting
Oluwafemiayo won in the women’s 86kg powerlifting event as she lift 151kg and broke both world record and a Paralympic record.

Dinesh Priyan Herath Mudiyanselage wins Sri Lanka’s first gold medal at a Paralympic Games in the men’s F54 javelin.He breaks the world record in the process too, throwing 67.79m to beat the former world record holder Devendra of India to the gold.

India’s Avani Lekhara has won gold in the women’s 10m Air rifle (standing) – SH1 finals.

Ukraine’s Maryna Lytovchenko takes gold in table tennis women’s singles – c6
Lytovchenko claims gold after dominating the match at 11-6 11-4 11-3 to beat RPC’s Maliak Alieva.

Uzbekistan’s Bobirjon Omonov breaks men’s F41 shot put Paralympic record
Omonov claims the gold medal in the men’s F41 shot put with a Paralympic record of 14.06m.

Tunisia’s Walid Ktila breaks Paralympic record to retain men’s T34 100m title
Ktila breaks the Paralympic record to retain his men’s T34 100m gold in a row in a time of 15.01.

Tokyo 2020 reports 11 coronavirus cases including one athlete
One athlete has tested positive for COVID-19 at Paralympic Village, new figures have confirmed. The total 11 new cases linked to the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, which include one athlete, one Games-concerned personnel, one Tokyo 2020 employee, seven contractors and one volunteer.

Andrew Small of Britain wins gold in the men’s 100 – T34
Andrew Small has won the men’s 100m T34 event after clocking in 17.73. Ahmad Almutairi from Kuwait wins silver and Harri Jenkins of Britain takes bronze.
