COVID: Bank in Kuwait sponsors campaign on disability

Al-Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) sponsored the Kuwait Public Authority for Disability Affairs’ (PADA) campaign on disability. The campaign sheds light on the adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on persons with disabilities.

The primary mission to protect persons with disabilities rights, PADA’s campaign, will help families with persons with disabilities during coronavirus pandemic. The campaign was built on three key areas: rehabilitation, education, and entertainment, providing treatment plans and solutions for the families, supporting them to overcome the psychological and social challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The bank will continue to drive inclusivity and empowerment across the country as part of its corporate social responsibility outreach programs. ABK will participate in the second recruitment campaign organized by PADA, scheduled to be held in early 2021.

The bank’s continuous efforts to achieve the highest satisfaction rate for persons with disabilities in all areas, and holds sign language training courses for branch staff, and has 43 fully trained that serve its customers with hearing disabilities.
