The England Supporters Travel Club (ESTC) announced on Tuesday a major update to its ticketing policy for fans with disabilities.

ESTC is working in partnership with Nimbus Disability to improve the way accessibility requirements are validated.

As part of this update, all Wheelchair and Easy Access supporters will be required to hold a valid Nimbus Access Card or Wembley Digital Access Pass (DAP). This will be used to confirm eligibility for accessible tickets for all England home and away fixtures.

The system assigns symbols to the card based on the user’s specific needs, such as “wheelchair user” or “essential companion,” allowing for a more dignified and efficient booking experience. While the move is designed to reduce administrative burdens, fans are urged to link their cards to their accounts immediately to ensure eligibility for upcoming fixtures.

Nimbus Access Cards and Wembley Digital Access Passes will now be used as the single method of validation for accessibility requirements:

  • Supporting documentation only needs to be provided once during the Nimbus application process.
  • Will not need to explain or discuss your access needs when booking tickets
  • Will be required to submit your Nimbus card when applying for EA and WC tickets for away matches – this will submitted when submitting your accessible request for the game in question
