App helps people with hearing disabilities to communicate

person using the app

The Pedius app has become an important inclusion tool, allowing people with hearing disabilities to communicate through a mobile device.

Users with hearing disabilities can write their query, which is converted into audio so that the person without hearing disabilities can listen to it.

Pedius also manages to convert the audio into text. In this way, a person with a hearing disability will be able to see what the other person answered verbally on their cell phone screen.

“If the transcription of the message were not perfect enough, Pedius would show some alternatives, and if that is not enough, you can ask the person to repeat,” say the creators.

According to the statement, the app developer informed that its clients would be able to use Pedius to communicate with others in their daily lives.

The Pedius app can be download from the App Store and Google Play store.
