The Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations (Mimp) through the National Council for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (Conadis), promotes the campaign “Entrepreneurial capacity”, which seeks to promote the labor and economic empowerment of people with disabilities during the state of emergency due to covid-19.
“It is very important that during the state of emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we promote the labor empowerment of people with disabilities. Our sector is working with strategic allies to provide concrete actions in favor of this population,” said, Rosario Sasieta from Mimp.
The campaign promoted by the Mimp, consists of the virtual registry of female and male entrepreneurs nationwide related to the sale of products and / or services produced by themselves. With a coordinated work, the representatives of the sector will be in charge of designing the digital advertisements, in order to make visible the work that people with disabilities have been doing during the pandemic.
“I call on public and private institutions and society in general to support the population in vulnerable situations such as people with disabilities who represent 10.3% of the Peruvian population,” emphasized the head of the Mimp.
