Malta University Consulting introduces course on sex education for people with intellectual disabilities

Malta University Consulting Ltd will offer a 20-hour course between September and November on sex education for people with intellectual disabilities. 

The course will take place at the Campus Hub, the University of Malta, starting on September 15, and aims at equipping participants with the skills and tools required to address the sex education needs of people with intellectual disabilities.

Claire Azzopardi Lane, the course coordinator and trainer specialises in disability and sexuality.

She has worked in education, social care, professional staff training, and educationists. She has worked with people with disabilities, their families, and those working in disability-related professions.
