Ukraine launched technologies for persons with disabilities

Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation has launched an inclusive educational series, “Digital Technologies for People with Disabilities”, according to a Ukrinform correspondent, the presentation of the series took place on December 21.

“In the topics that are revealed in our educational series, and I will remind you of a ten-episode educational series, the most common situations that people face with different types of disability” said during the presentation, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration Valeria Ionan.

The series deals, in particular, with information technologies for personal development, how the built-in function helps people with hearing or vision disability, about distance education for people with disabilities, Internet technologies for the employment of people with disabilities, alternative communication technologies for people with disabilities.

The series has subtitles built into the Ukrainian translation and sign language and is available for viewing on the platform “Action. Digital education”.
