The Moscow government recommended that families with children who have received preferential vouchers through the Mosgorturv line and did not use them because of the coronavirus pandemic to postpone their vacation to September October or summer 2021.
In April-March, the Moscow government issued more than 40 thousand preferential children’s vouchers and certificates for children’s independent organization of children’s recreation. Children with disabilities, orphans, children from low-income families, and other privileged categories have the right to receive such vouchers. These vouchers were fully or partially paid from the city budget.
However, most of the children were unable to go on vacation due to the coronavirus pandemic. In April, the organization of children’s recreation was suspended due to an unfavorable epidemic situation.
Organized recreation in children’s health camps unaccompanied by adults will not be resumed in 2020, – says the materials for the Moscow government presidium meeting, held on August 18.
The Moscow government recommended families whose children could not rest this summer to postpone their children’s rest. There are three options for transferring children’s rest:
- send children on vacation in the fall – in September-October;
- delaying the trip to 2021 with the ability to choose a place and time of rest;
- replace the voucher with a certificate of 30 thousand rubles for your child’s independent organization of recreation.
The validity of certificates for self-organization of children’s recreation has been extended until October 31, 2021.
