We are looking a Sales and Marketing officer to assist in the advertising and selling of our company’s services and to create competitive advantages for our company in the market industry.

The Sales and Marketing Officer’s responsibilities include generating sales, creating engaging advertisements, emails, and promotional material, developing pricing strategies, and meeting marketing, sales objectives and communication. The Sales and Marketing Officer represents the company’s brand and drives strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends.

To be a successful Sales and Marketing Officer, you should have strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. You should also possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing.

We want an energetic and motivated Sales and Marketing Officer who ‘owns the numbers’, who understands the sales process; who understands targets, sales delivery and who has a proven track record.

Sales and Marketing Officer Responsibilities:

  • Promoting the company’s existing brands and introducing our services to the market.
  • To own the sales process and be able to report on each stage of the pipeline
  • Understand targets and the process to achieve company goals.
  • Analysing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales meets their quotas and goals.
  • Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company’s marketing goals.
  • Gathering, investigating, and summarising market data and trends to draft reports.
  • Implementing new sales plans and advertising.
  • Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing and sales to meet sales and marketing objectives.
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular contacts, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
  • Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.
  • Manage the social media platforms.

Sales and Marketing Officer Requirements:

  • Master degree in business and Marketing
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing or sales.
  • Experience with marketing strategy, tools, and social media engagement strategies.
  • Experience working with teams in planning and executing tasks
  • Ability to write a compelling, clear story (i.e. client emails, newsletters, blogs, website and social media posts, proposals, etc.).
  • Experience in disability issue an advantage.
  • Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
  • The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
  • The ability to work under pressure.

Remuneration: Negotiable depending on experience
