Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) –Ratified on April 15, 2008. It has not ratified the Optional Protocol to the CRPD. Philippines’ CRPD State Party reports submitted to the Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights (OHCHR).
Magna Carta for Persons with Disabilities –Republic Act 7277, this law talks about rehabilitation and self-dependence of people with disabilities.

Philippines like a few other South Asian countries is not very accessible for persons with disabilities. It is better to plan your trip in advance. It is best to hire a private vehicle when traveling within Philippines. Most of the hotels with higher ratings have standardized access rooms (including accessible toilets).
