All airports are accessible as well as interurban buses stations, but the interurban vehicles are not accessible. There is limited urban accessible transportation, except main public transportation lines in major cities such as Mexico, Monterrey or Guadalajara.
Accessible public transportation don’t always serve major tourist destinations.
The tourist shall expect the absence of accessible taxis in any city, therefore, is easier to travel with foldable manual wheelchairs rather than scooters or power wheelchairs.
Accessible services tourist varies in each city. Main tourist destination are colonial era cities or pre-Columbian archaeological sites throughout the country, where the tourist can find accessible hotels to some degree, but not all main attractions are accessible.

There are many initiatives about accessible tourist services in different cities, but information is not systematized or easy to find.
Many hotel chains offer accessible rooms that vary in accessibility features and level of comfort. Look for international chains’ hotels when booking, as small local hotels doesn’t have accessibility features.
