Statistics shows the Russian regions with largest number of jobs for people with disabilities

The Federal Service for Labour and Employment provided information on vacancies for people with disabilities on the portal “Work in Russia”, the press service of the department reports.

According to Rostrud, the leaders in the number of vacancies for people with disabilities are the Moscow Region, Krasnodar and Krasnoyarsk Territories, St. Petersburg and Moscow.

The Rostrud portal “Work in Russia” for people with disabilities offers  more than 85 thousand jobs. More than a third of all vacancies submitted (38 thousand) relate to the production sector. They  also offer jobs in the medical, banking and service sectors.

The largest number of vacancies are for people with vision, hearing disabilities. Quite a lot of jobs are offered to people with intellectual disabilities, damage to the musculoskeletal system, circulatory function disorders. Employers want  chemists, engineers, technicians, locksmiths, storekeepers. For locksmiths and laboratory assistants in chemical plants, the offers range to 50 000 rubles per month (approximately 780$), engineers can count on income of up to 100 thousand rubles (1500$) , the Ministry of Labour said in a press release.
