Qatar launches ‘My Disability Unlocked My Talents’ competition

Qatar’s Education Ministry has launched the third edition of “My Disability Unlocked My Talents” competition under the theme “My Health and Safety.”

The contest aims to ensure equal opportunities for students with disabilities to highlight their talents and skills. It further seeks to help students with disabilities with their creations in various fields and sponsor their abilities.

The theme of this year’s edition is relevant to the coronavirus pandemic, which highlighted the importance of protecting the health and take a wide range of measures to ensure the health and welfare of citizens.

The competition winners will be announced by the end of March. A special ceremony will honour the first three places in each of the four areas of competition.

‘My Disability Unlocked My Talents’ targets students with all disabilities (motor disability, hearing, autism, intellectual and vision disabilities) who have a talent in one of four areas of competition. Students with disabilities in schools and educational and rehabilitation centers, are eligible to participate in the contest.
