Care facility in Yokohama for people with disabilities reports 67 COVID cases

Care facility specializing in the care of persons with disabilities reported 67 cases of coronavirus from its facility in Yokohama, Japan.

Yokohama’s city has announced 67 people were infected with COVID-19 at the group home for persons with disabilities. The city government has confirmed 67 men and women under the age of 10 to 80s.

Two men in their 70s are said to have severe and moderate symptoms such as pneumonia. 14 were asymptomatic, and the remaining 51 were mild.

The city believes that a new cluster has emerged. In the future, we will proceed with epidemiological investigations, identify close contacts, and carry out wide-ranging inspections.
