AT products unveils for people with hearing disabilities in Shanghai

A rehabilitative and assistive device innovation and experience center has been unveiled in Jing’an District in Shanghai.

Among 80 innovative products, an AI-based sign language interpreter is the highlight, reports ecns.

The desktop device can swiftly identify different sign language types and convert them to voice or text messages.

The developer stated this product could be operated at hospitals, banks, municipal services, and passenger stations.

Weighing only 22g, this product supporting 30 customized languages can read text aloud within 1 or 2 seconds, without going online.
