In Moscow, simplified parking rules for drivers with disabilities

Disabled parking signage with blue sky

Persons with disabilities no longer need to issue a parking permit to leave the car at reserved places, according to the Moscow Mayor office’s press service.

Cars of drivers with disabilities and vehicles that transport them are required to register at the Federal Register of Disabled.

It is advisable to verify the correctness and relevance of their data in the federal register of persons with disabilities. This can be done through the public services portal or the federal registrt of persons with disabilities.

The federal registry may contain only one vehicle, the driver of which has the right to free parking. This data can be changed if necessary. Also, the sign “Disabled” must be installed on the car; however, receiving the individual sign at the ITU Bureau will no longer be required.

For more information: Moscow Transport at +7 (495) 539-54-54 or 3210 (free of charge from mobile phones), and fill out the form on the portal.
