Outrage against YouTuber celeb leaving toddler with autism

Social media users and online community are registering outrage against YouTube stars for giving up an adopted child citing behavioral issue.

The Myka Stauffer and her husband, James, had posted videos of the effort to adopt the boy, named Huxley, on their monetized YouTube channel, The Stauffer Life, which has more than 300,000 subscribers. Myka Stauffer’s individual channel has around 700,00 subscribers.

The couple announced in July 2016 they were planning to adopt a boy from China and made a series of videos detailing the adoption process. Huxley came to live with the couple in Columbus, Ohio, in 2017 and Stauffer continued to make videos featuring him and the family.

YouTube star Myka Stauffer’s subscriber count has plummeted in days following her controversial announcement that she has ‘rehomed’ her five-year-old adopted son Huxley.
