New educational videos from the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission) will help NDIS providers better understand their obligations under the NDIS Code of Conduct.

The NDIS Code of Conduct upholds the rights of NDIS participants to access safe and ethical supports and services, and defines the expected conduct, behaviour and culture of NDIS providers and workers.

The practical and engaging videos — available on the NDIS Commission website — cover key elements of the NDIS Code of Conduct, with the four new videos covering:

  • Safety and competency
  • Integrity, honesty and transparency
  • Eliminating and responding to violence, exploitation, neglect and abuse
  • Fair pricing.

Acting NDIS Quality and Safeguards Associate Commissioner Sian Leathem said the videos help bring the Code of Conduct to life through real-world scenarios and make it easier for providers and workers to understand their obligations.

“Any provider or worker who delivers NDIS supports and services must abide by the NDIS Code of Conduct. This includes unregistered providers and sole traders,” said Ms Leathem.

“These video resources help explain the Code of Conduct to people in management roles or working on the frontline delivering NDIS supports and services.

“It’s vitally important that everyone understands their obligations under the Code.”

The NDIS Commission can take enforcement action for breaches of the Code of Conduct, including banning individuals and businesses from working in the NDIS.

These four videos are the first half of a series of eight, with the second suite to be launched in 2026.
