The McGowan Government is calling for new members for the Ministerial Advisory Council on Disability.
The Council comprises of up to 14 members, including people with disability and people with knowledge of an experience in matters relevant to people with disability.
Over the past year, the Council has assisted in the development of the ‘A Western Australia for Everyone – State Disability Strategy 2020-2030’ as well as providing advice to the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation’s Plastic Straws Working Group.
Individual Council members are required to bring knowledge, lived experience and invaluable professional and personal networks to the table. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

“It is incredibly important that Council membership reflects the diversity of the community and can represent all people with disability, their families and carers.”
