The Ministry of Health (Minsa) of Panama highlighted the COVID-19 Pandemic remote care strategy for persons with disabilities during the Executive Council of the World Health Organization (WHO) meeting.
The Ministry indicated that the program seeks to mitigate the risk of contagion and exposure to coronavirus of persons with disabilities.
Programs and projects for persons with disabilities are managed through the National Advisory Council on Disability.
Also, the Advisory Council carries out specific actions for the participation of various associations that protect the rights of persons with disabilities.
The WHO Executive Council meeting will be held until January 26.
