The General Directorate for Disability Policies has launched the latest survey to analyze the pandemic impact on people with disabilities in Spain.
The General Directorate for Disability Policies of the Ministry of Social Rights and the 2030 Agenda has launched the fourth and last micro-survey in the framework of the research on the impact of COVID-19 on people with disabilities, which this time focuses on analyzing the consequences of the pandemic on the health and basic rights of people with disabilities.
The research, developed by the SIIS Center for Documentation and Studies of the Eguía Careaga Foundation, seeks to identify the main needs, reflect on the socio-economic consequences and propose possible lines of action to address the challenges that people with disabilities are facing.
The Survey questionnaires that have been distributed during these months have been designed in an accessible format, easy to read, and with interpretation in Spanish sign language. The micro-survey on health and basic rights is already active and ends today.
