The Inclusion and Fairness team has launched an online Inclusion Training Package on the CFA Learning Hub that was developed by SBS.

The package is designed to build core skills and knowledge around the seven different modules. Five modules are available: Core Inclusion, Indigenous Inclusion, Gender Inclusion, LGBTIQ+ Inclusion and Disability Inclusion.

An additional two modules are currently being developed that focus on age and culture. Each of the modules has set themes and learning objectives and members can learn at their own pace.

The courses are highly engaging online learning experiences. They tell real stories, create empathy, make complex information digestible, and provide practical things people can do.

Content is largely delivered as short films, animations and interviews featuring real stories from diverse people, academics and leaders of diverse teams.

“Inclusion is about all of us taking responsibility to create a safe, welcoming and equitable organisation where individuals feel respected and valued,” Monica said.

“The inherit diversity a person brings as a volunteer or staff member at CFA allows us to include different views points, experiences and skills. All of these contribute to creating a sustainable CFA for the future.”
