The National Administration of Disability (ANDIS) announced this Tuesday that from May 2021 the disability certifications will be unified in a single document that will have national validity.

The resolution signed by the head of ANDIS, Claudio Espósito, indicates that as of May 24, 2021, “only the Single Certificate of Disability (CUD) will be valid nationwide to prove ”

“This will allow access to the rights and benefits provided by the National State in the area of health, long-distance transportation, family allowances, non-contributory pensions and tax exemptions,” said a statement from the agency.

ANDIS explained that the so-called “NO CUD” certificates were issued prior to Law No. 24,901, “not complying with international certifications, nor do they have an expiration date or certify the existence of medical treatment for rehabilitation or the state of the disabled person. ”

The national and provincial social security, and prepaid medicine companies “will notify persons with disabilities who are affiliated to them and who have NO CUD so that they can process the CUD through the local evaluation boards,” said the report.
