Passengers with disabilities of the Moscow Metro, who use the services of the Center for the Mobility of Passengers (COMP), will be given free protective equipment, masks and gloves, the press service of the Moscow government reports.
For assistance inside the metro by the inspectors of the center, it is necessary to order the service in advance.
“On behalf of the Moscow Mayor, for those who use the Moscow metro social service, the Center for Passenger Mobility, will give out masks and gloves for free if they don’t have any personal protective equipment with them. The aid is aimed at passengers with disabilities, as well as large families with small children,” said Maxim Liksutov, head of the Department of Transport and the Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of the city.
The services of the COMP inspectors are free. They help low-mobility passengers navigate the metro, go down to trains or change lines where there are no elevators. If necessary, inspectors accompany the passenger throughout the trip, for example, to the station or clinic
