Ukraine government appoints commissioner for rights of persons with disabilities

Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Tetiana Barantsova as the government commissioner for the rights of persons with disabilities.

A respective order has been published on the Ukrainian government portal.

Barantsova is the director of the Luhansk regional center for the socio-cultural adaptation of young people with disabilities.

The commissioner for the rights of persons with disabilities is committed to rendering Ukraine society an inclusive one, in a way that persons with disabilities reach their full potential in all aspects of life, enjoying a high quality of life thanks to equal opportunities.
