A forum for business persons with disabilities

Disabled man attending forum with a male speaker

Russia – From September 1 to September 4, 2019, a business forum  will be held near Nizhny Novgorod, reports the Russian Agency for Social Information. It’s main task is to teach persons with disabilities how to start their own business. Applications are accepted until July 30.

During the forum, well-known speakers, business coaches, and successful businessmen will work with the participants. They will learn how to start their own business and acquire new skills. The  participants will present their social projects. The best projects will receive investments for their implementation, and their authors – an experienced mentor.

The organizer of the forum , Roman Ponomarenko, is a prominent Nizhni  Novgorod activist and businessman. At the age of 11, he suffered a spinal injury and has since used  a wheelchair. Roman has considerable experience in conducting business: he worked in a tax office, opened a shop selling clothes, traded on the  stock exchange.

Roman Ponomarenko believes that the forum would help people get on their feet, stop being afraid, learn to dream and make their dreams come true.

Anyone from  Russia or a neighbouring country can take part in the event. Participation is free. Applications are accepted until July 30, 2019.
