More than € 36,000: this is the donation made by Línea Directa Insurer to the “Commercial Management” and “Integrated” programs, in collaboration with the Randstad Foundation to promote the employment and training of people with disabilities during the difficult that are being experienced due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This donation makes it possible to expand the support and commitment of Línea Directa with diversity, through Programs such as “Commercial Management”, where only in the first quarter of the year more than 480 people have already participated and 113 have been hired by different Business.

This program, which was launched in 2018, has a course for people with physical, organic and sensory disabilities, taught by Línea Directa volunteers, where useful training is offered to facilitate employability in business profiles and that, despite the limitations produced by the Covid-19 are still being taught digitally.

Both this Program and the “Integrated” Program have the objectives of promoting equal opportunities in access to education for people with disabilities, facilitating their integration into the workplace, and working to achieve an inclusive and equal social ecosystem for people with disabilities. In addition to developing alliances in order to share knowledge, commitment and resources to maximize the positive impact on society.

In the words of Mar Garre, Director of People and Internal Communication of Línea Directa Aseguradora, “we are living in difficult times and, now more than ever, we must focus on what is important and not forget the most vulnerable people. The challenge of accessing decent work becomes even more arduous for people with disabilities, despite the fact that their contribution is invaluable. For this reason, in Línea Directa we want to continue collaborating in the promotion of initiatives that aim at the professional training of people with disabilities and we have found in the Randstad Foundation a great ally for this.”
