A disability support worker will face court today charged over the alleged sexual touching of a client on the state’s Mid North Coast, Australia.
Last month, detectives from Mid North Coast Police District commenced an investigation, following reports a 21-year-old man had been indecently assault on a number of occasions by a man known to him.
Following extensive inquiries, investigators arrested a 65-year-old man at a home in Bowraville about 12.50pm yesterday (Friday 17 April 2020).
He was taken to Macksville Police Station and charged with nine counts of aggravated sexually touch another person without consent.
Police will allege in court that the man sexually touched the younger man on numerous occasions between January and March 2020, while providing disability support services.
The man was refused bail to appear at Port Macquarie Local Court today (Saturday 18 April 2020).
