DanceSyndrome launches dancing challenge campaign

DanceSyndrome has launched a fundraising campaign to ensure it can continue helping persons with disabilities and their families in Bolton.

The Show Us Your Moves campaign is encouraging people to film themselves performing a short dance move and post it on social media.

DanceSyndrome is an inclusive dance charity based in Lancashire with a special focus on including everyone, regardless of ability.

DanceSyndrome has kicked off the campaign by sharing a series of videos created by people already being supported by the charity.

The charity was created in 2009 to support people with learning disabilities and their families to improve mental health, social inclusion and challenge perceptions through dance themed projects, including workshops and performances.

“At DanceSyndrome we co-create projects and opportunities to help connect people, work closely with those who have learning disabilities to help them achieve their own potential, and challenge accepted beliefs around what people with learning disabilities are able to do.
